OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — The Experimental Aircraft Association says a pilot was killed and his passenger seriously injured when a plane crashed at the Oshkosh airport, where planes taking part in the annual AirVenture convention land. EAA spokesman Dick Knapinksi says the plane went down on the southeast side of Wittman Regional Airport about 9:30 a.m. Thursday. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Supreme Court has upheld a requirement that voters show photo identification at the polls, but the law remains blocked in federal court. Thursday's rulings have no immediate impact given that the law was struck down in April by a federal judge in Milwaukee. One person is in custody and investigators are interviewing other people following a burglary at Wendt’s on the Lake. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s OIffice was called to the scene on Lakeshore Drive in Van Dyne shortly after 10pm last night. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says shortly after the burglary there was an attempted car entry nearby.
