todayJuly 2, 2014

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin man’s boast about selling high-quality heroin has led to a homicide charge in a fatal overdose.   Twenty five year-old Patrick Schreck, of Oshkosh, was charged June 16 with first-degree reckless homicide in the 2012 death of 44-year-old Stephen Hidde, of Appleton.  A criminal complaint says Schreck was charged after boasting to another inmate at the Winnebago County Jail that he sold the best heroin in the region and it had killed five people. Investigators interviewed the inmate last year.  A warrant has been issued for Schreck’s arrest.
