7-16-14 ryan challenger

todayJuly 16, 2014

RACINE, Wis. (AP) — Democratic challenger Rob Zerban  raised just over $100,000 last quarter as he tries to defeat Rep. Paul Ryan for the seat representing southeastern Wisconsin. Zerban ran against Ryan in 2012 and lost, 55 percent to 43 percent. The 12-point margin of victory was the narrowest of Ryan’s eight election wins. But Ryan, coming off a high-profile run as vice president, has an especially huge cash advantage this year.
