Fond du Lac police are continuing to look for a suspect in connection with a home invasion this week and similar incident a couple of weeks before a homeowner in the area of Dewberry Drive and Primrose Lane chased a naked man out of his home early Wednesday morning. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says detectives are already following up on a couple of leads. “We have started getting some calls with information, ” Klein told WFDL news. “…nothing that has led us to any suspects at this point.” Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
