Fond du Lac police are notifying residents about three convicted sex offenders who are being released into the community. Christopher Marsh is getting out of prison Tuesday after serving seven years for sexually assaulting two girls, ages 14 and 15. John Provo is also getting out of prison Tuesday after serving time in prison for child enticement and exposure. Both Provo and Marsh will be living at 457 Thomas Street. Fond du Lac police say they were recently made aware that Jacque Fagan is living at 35 6th Street. Fagan is a registered sex offender from the state of Ohio where he has multiple sex offense convictions.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
