MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The latest Marquette University Law School poll shows Gov. Scott Walker in a dead heat with Democratic challenger Mary Burke.  The poll released Wednesday showed Walker with 46 percent among registered voters, compared with 45 percent for Burke. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The latest Marquette University Law School poll of Wisconsin voters shows a majority support repealing the state's same-sex marriage ban.  The latest poll released Wednesday shows 56 percent of voters support repealing the state's constitutional ban on gay marriages. 7-23-14 semi vs. pickup

Minor injuries were reported in an accident involving a semi tractor trailer and pick-up truck on Highway 151 near Waupun.  Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says the accident happened around 12:30pm Wednesday on 151 near highway 49.  Olig says the semi was northbound on 151 when it rear-ended the pick-up.  Olig says the drivers of both vehicles were transported to the hospital with what were described as minor injuries.

One person is arrested following a stabbing incident in Berlin. Berlin Police Captain Kevin Block says police responded to the 100 block of S. Adams Avenue around 4:20 p.m. Sunday afternoon after a report of a disturbance between several people with one individual being stabbed in the abdomen.   The injured party was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Ripon police are looking for information regarding vehicle thefts over the past few weeks. On June 29th, police say someone entered a garage in the 900 block of Watson Street, removed a vehicle and drove away. The vehicle was later found abandoned in Fond du Lac County.
