MILWAUKEE (AP) — State Rep. Duey Stroebel has donated another $350,000 to his congressional campaign in recent weeks, as he runs for the Wisconsin seat now held by retiring Republican Rep. Tom Petri . Campaign-finance reports released late Thursday show that Stroebel has about $260,000 cash on hand. That gives him an edge over his two top rival candidates. State Sen. Joe Leibham, has about $170,000 and state Sen. Glenn Grothman has about $160,000. Stroebel has given his campaign nearly $700,000 overall, accounting for the vast majority of his fundraising. Leibham raised a total of $380,000 this year, with $10,000 coming from his own pocket. Grothman brought in about $336,000, of which he provided $100,000. The three candidates and college instructor Tom Denow will compete in an Aug. 12 Republican primary.
