8-2-14 relay for life

Relay For Life of Fond du Lac is celebrating its 20^th anniversary this year.  The event started Friday afternoon ending with closing ceremonies at 7 a.m. Saturday, at the Fond du Lac High School.  Katie McCormick with the American Cancer Society  says the Relay For Life movement symbolizes hope and a shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of people we love.  McCormick says this year’s goal is $250,000 for cancer research.    A luminaria ceremony was held Friday night to remember people who have died from cancer.
