On Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at approximately 4:32 PM, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and Campbellsport Fire Department responded to N3647 Red Oak Dr. in the Town of Osceola for a house fire. The house was currently under construction and was vacant at the time of the fire. The house is considered a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and Campbellsport Fire Department.
Fire Departments from Eden, Kewaskum, Cascade, St. Cloud and Beachwood assisted Campbellsport Fire Department.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
