Authorities have identified a Kewaskum man who was killed when a motorcycle struck a deer in Fond du lac County . The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says 41 yea r old James Skomski was pronounced dead at the scene on CTH G south of STH 67 in the Township of Osceola. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department along with DNR Park Rangers, Campbellsport Fire Department and Campbellsport Ambulance responded. A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
