A Fond du Lac man accused of exposing himself in front of young girls near a Fond du Lac park has been charged. William Thomas made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Tuesday on multiple counts of exposing genitals to a child. According to a criminal complaint Thomas exposed himself on several occasions in front of girls near Taylor Park. The incidents occurred over a period of about a month. Judge Richard Nuss set cash bail at $25,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 21st.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
