Scott Walker's campaign.  Prosecutors have been looking into whether Walker's 2012 recall campaign illegally coordinated with conservative groups on advertising and fundraising. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin System's Board of Regents has approved asking Governor Scott Walker for $95 million in additional tax dollars in the next state budget. The regents voted unanimously to forward the request to Walker during a meeting at UW-Oshkosh this afternoon.

8-22-14 gas leak

On August 21, 2014 at 2:06 PM the Fond du Lac Fire Department responded to a natural gas leak in the area of South Hickory and West Rolling Meadows Drive.  A construction company was working in the area working when they struck a natural gas service line.   Upon arrival fire crews evacuated the area and closed Rolling Meadows Drive until it was determined to be safe.  Alliant Energy was contacted […]

8-22-14 fdl man injured in auto salvage yard accident

A Fond du Lac man was seriously injured in an accident at an auto salvage yard.  Rescue personnel were called to American Auto Salvage for a report of  a man’s leg caught between a car and forklift. The 24 year old man was transported to St. Agnes Hospital.
