On August 21, 2014 at 2:06 PM the Fond du Lac Fire Department responded to a natural gas leak in the area of South Hickory and West Rolling Meadows Drive. A construction company was working in the area working when they struck a natural gas service line. A Fond du Lac man was seriously injured in an accident at an auto salvage yard. Rescue personnel were called to American Auto Salvage for a report of a man’s leg caught between a car and forklift. The 24 year old man was transported to St. Agnes Hospital.
