9-25-14 lakeside park exploratory commitee selects facilitator

The Fond du Lac Lakeside Park exploratory committee has selected a facilitator.  Committee Chair John Short says UW extension agent Diana Tscheschlock has agreed to act as a facilitator for the group.  “We’re very pleased that she agreed to do that,”  Short told WFDL news.  “She has experience in that area, she is an MSW social worker, a community natural resource economic development educator for county extension.”  Tscheschlock’s first question for the group was to list what they felt would be a success when they finish their task.  Short says the response  was  “we want more people using the park, be transparent, think boldly,  involve as many stakeholders as possible…adapt ideas from other communities, think about the future,”  Short said.  The committee was formed to explore potential development options at Lakeside Park.  The committee’s next meeting is scheduled for October 21^st.
