The Dodge County sheriff says a fatal accident this week occurred in a construction zone. The accident Wednesday evening on State Highway 60 and Highway 26 claimed the life of a Washington County man. The vicrtim has been identified as 24 year old Tyler Campio of Allenton. The State Patrol says a car driven by 62 year old Anthony Spangler of Beaver Dam collided with a car drivenby 25 year old Emilee Endlich of Allenton. Tampio was a passenger in Endlich’s vehicle. A second passenger, a 4 year old boy, was transported by Flight for Life to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee with non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicle drivers were transported to Beaver Dam Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation. Sheriff Pat Ninmann says the accident is a painful reminder that people have to slow down and pay attention when driving in construction zones. “In that construction area if you are not familiar with the area, you should be slowing down and really paying attention,” Ninmann told WFDL news.
