Washington County suffered its tenth traffic fatality of 2014 as a result of a two-car accident Friday afternoon. A highway 23 resurfacing project east of Fond du Lac starts Monday. The $730,000 project involves a four mile stretch from Log Tavern Road to the Fond du Lac-Sheboygan County line. The highway will remain open during the project with flagmen controlling traffic. The project is scheduled to be completed by mid-October.
