9-15-14 fdl county highway commissioner opposes proposal to shelve hwy 23 project

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) — Agricultural officials are projecting an 11 percent increase in the size of Wisconsin's corn harvest this year. That has farmers worried that prices will drop too low for them to make a profit.  State projections call for corn yields of 162 bushels per acre. 9-13-14 appeals court reinstates wi voter photo id law

CHICAGO (AP) — A federal appeals court has reinstated Wisconsin's voter photo identification law.  U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman struck the law down as unconstitutional in April, saying it unfairly burdens poor and minority voters who may lack such identification.
