(AP) — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources wants to ask wolf hunters and trappers to help the agency gather more information about wounds the animals have suffered.  According to DNR documents, the agency wants to ask hunters and trappers to register their kills before skinning them. 9-25-14 unemployment down in every wi county

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Unemployment fell in every Wisconsin city and county last month. The state Department of Workforce Development reports today that unemployment dropped in all of the 32 largest cities and in all 72 counties in August compared with July. The state's overall unemployment rate in July was 5.6 percent, the lowest it's been since 2008.

9-25-14 local unemployment rate down

The local unemployment rate is down in the latest reporting period.  The city Fond du Lac’s unemployment rate in August stands at 5.9 percent, down from 6.7 percent in July.  In Fond du Lac County the jobless rate dropped six-tenths of a percent to 4.9 percent in August.  In Dodge County the August unemployment rate stands at 5.4 percent…down from six percent the month before.

WAUKESHA, Wis.
