Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal two vehicle accident in Fond du lac County. The Sheriff’s Office says 26 year old Amber Marie Dickerson from Chilton was killed in a two vehicle accident Monday.. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says Dickerson was the driver of a mini van that went through a stop sign and collided with a semi truck on Highway M and Olden Road near Ripon. The van burst into flames. Dickerson was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver, 61 yer old Kenneth Hohensee from Bear Creek, Wisconsin was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
