A 73 year old Brownsville area man was killed and another person received minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County. Sheriff’s Chief deputy Mark Strand says the accident happened shortly before 7:30am at County Highways K and F in the town of Eden. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says the victim was pinned inside the overturned vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Strand says the driver of the other vehicle received minor injuries. Responding to the scene were the Campbellsport Fire Department and First Responders and Campbellsport Ambulance. The accident remains under investigation.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
