10-9-14 governor walker visits fdl county farm

With less than a month to go before the election Governor Scott Walker was on the campaign trail in Fond du Lac County Wednesday afternoon.  Walker made a stop at the John and Karen Ruedinger farm in Van Dyne touting his initiatives to help agriculture including tax breaks.  Walker says he is pleased with the latest Marquette Law School poll showing him up by five points over Democrat Mary Burke.  “I think we feel good about it.  You would rather be ahead than behind,”  Walker said.  Meanwhile,  Walker says he plans to have a conversation with Wisconsin voters on the direction the state is headed when he debates Burke Friday.
