MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke says if elected, she will not raise taxes. outlined her priorities in the race against Republican Gov. Scott Walker. The Nov. 4 election is just three weeks away. Burke says the key is growing the economy to allow for room to reduce taxes on working and middle class families. Walker has promised to lower the state’s overall tax burden in a second term. He cut taxes by about $2 billion in his first term.
