MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wildlife officials are closing two more wolf hunting zones in northern Wisconsin. The Department of Natural Resources says Zones 1 and 4 will be closed to further hunting and trapping of wolves effective 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The DNR closed Zone 2 last week. Three of the state’s six zones remain open.  The wolf season began Wednesday. The DNR has set a statewide kill limit of 150 animals. The agency’s website shows that hunters had killed 65 animals across all zones as of midday Sunday, leaving 85 animals to go.
