The Mayville School District is exploring the option of going to referendum for a high school renovation. District Administrator Dr. Pat Antony says a renovation of the high school building would be the third phase of facility improvements following the Parkview Elementary School upgrades and the relocation of the district administration building. Antony says a number of infrastructure improvements are needed at the half-century old high school. Antony says the district has begun the process of possibly going to referendum, as the school board approved a community survey that will be mailed to residents to gather data and input. Antony says if there is a favorable response for a high school renovation, the district would look to go to referendum in the spring of 2015.
