Wisconsin residents are receiving confusing messages by phone and mail about the election. Just last week some people received a Wisconsin voter registration form in the mail with their name and address already filled in. They were told to mail the form to their municipal clerk, even though it was already too late for mailed registrations to be processed. Other people have reported receiving robocalls telling them to bring a photo ID to vote. Fond du Lac County clerk Lisa Freiberg says there have also been problems reported with a Republican Party website voter registration feature which has given out wrong information about voting locations. “I get very frustrated and its been the last couple weeks of the misinformation that is given to our voters,” Freiberg told AM 1170 wFDL’s Between the Lines program. Freiberg says the best advice is to consult with your municipal clerk or go to the GAB’s My Vote Wisconsin website.
