The Fond du Lac city council is scheduled to adopt the 2015  budget at their meeting Wednesday night.  The proposed budget includes a property tax rate increase of 5.4 percent or 45 cents per thousand dollars of equalized value.  The owner of a $150,000 home would see an increase of about $68.  The proposed property tax levy of $22.8 million is up from $21.5 million a year ago.  Director of […]

10-21-14 charges referred to da’s office in dodge county homicide case

First degree intentional homicide charges have been referred to the Dodge County DA’s Office against a Milwaukee woman in connection with a town of Fox Lake murder.  Thirty year old Kriscilla McHenry was arrested last month and is being held  in the Dodge County Jail on $50,000 cash bond.  Mchenry faces charges of  first degree intentional homicide and auto theft.  Dodge County sheriff Pat Ninmann says McHenry turned herself in […]
