For the 11th consecutive year a Fond du lac elementary school is being recognized by the state. Chegwin Elementary has again been named a Wisconsin Title One School of Recognition. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the award highlights schools that have demonstrated success in educating students from low-income families.
The Fond du Lac County Clerk is predicting a high voter turnout next Tuesday. Lisa Freiberg says a good indicator is absentee voting and she says a lot of residents are casting their ballots early.
