A Republican lawmaker from Markesan says her experience sets her apart from the other legislators who are vying for a top leadership post In the Assembly.  State representative Joan Ballweg is one of three Assembly Republicans vying to become the chamber’s second in command.  “I’m going to be starting my 6th term in the Assembly, served my constituents well.  One of the things you want your leader to do is be able to do is express to the members how to do a good job in representing your constituents,”  Ballweg told AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program.  GOP members plan to meet Monday to select their officers.
