MILWAUKEE (AP) — The first major winter storm of the season is on its way to western and northern Wisconsin.  Winter storm warnings are out. The National Weather Service says 8 to 16 inches of snow could fall north of a line from Marshfield to Crivitz beginning Monday morning into Tuesday evening. The combination of snow and strong winds could make travel very difficult. Lesser amounts are forecast for east-central Wisconsin and the Lake Michigan shore, where the snow may be mixed with rain and sleet. Employees at Pomp’s Tire Service in Green Bay have been putting in full days as northeastern Wisconsin drivers prepare for winter.  Delta Air Lines is allowing travelers to reschedule flights scheduled for Monday through Green Bay, as well as Minneapolis and Rochester in Minnesota.
