11-15-14 habitat for humanity holiday light recycling

Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin is announcing a green initiative for the upcoming holiday season. Habitat ReStores throughout the state, including the Fond du Lac ReStore (65 W. Scott Street) will be accepting non-working or no longer needed holiday lights for recycling.   Habitat director Paul Osterholm says old strings of lights will be recycled with the proceeds Assisting low income families.  Lights will be collected during regular store hours Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM throughout the holiday season.
