Ripon school district voters have approved a major building referendum.  Sixty five percent of voters said yes to the $29.1 million referendum to upgrade the high school and build a new middle school next to the high school.  The old middle school will be demolished and replaced with a parking lot and tennis courts.  Ripon school district superintendent Dr. Mary Whitrock she believes the combined approach will work in Ripon.
