On Monday November 3, 2014 at 1:40 a.m.  the Fond du Lac Fire Department responded to a report of a house on fire at 264 E. First Street. 11-3-14 brandon family displaced by fire

The Red Cross is assisting a Brandon family following a fire.  Nobody was injured in the fire at the John Horvath home on Highway 49 in Brandon.   The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says Horvath and his two children were able to escape without injury.  The fire is believed to be electrical in nature and caused significant damage to the home.

On Saturday November 1, 2014 at 8:40pm, the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a 911 call advising of a barn fire at N8611 Pine Rd in the Town of Marshfield; the David and Jacquoline Meinert Farm.
