A Dodge County homicide suspect has been found competent to stand trial in another open case. The court found thirty year old Kriscilla McHenry of Milwaukee competent to stand trial at a hearing Monday in Dodge County Circuit Court on an automobile theft charge. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for December 18th. McHenry is a suspect in the homicide of a 43 year old town of Fox Lake man in August and investigators believe McHenry stole the victim’s vehicle after leaving his apartment August 19th. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department has referred first degree intentional homicide charges against McHenry to the District Attorney’s Office. The D.A.’s Office continues to review the case, saying in October that any charging decision would be premature until the current competency issue was resolved.
