todayDecember 13, 2014

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (AP) — A four-hour police standoff in Kaukauna has ended peacefully with one man in custody.  Police say they got a call about 4:30 a.m. Friday of a disturbance in a home involving a man brandishing a gun. About 30 officers responded, including the Outagamie County emergency response team. Police say two women safely exited the home on their own. The suspect remained inside until he surrendered around 8:30 a.m.  The Kaukauna Area School District closed Park Community Charter School for the day as a precaution. The school is three blocks from the scene.
