12-13 lomira man reaches plea deal in heroin overdose case

A Lomira man accused of participating in the delivery of heroin to a Fond du Lac man who later died from an overdose has avoided trialby reaching a plea agreement.  Jeffrey Abitz pleaded guilty Thursday to delivery of heroin and possession of narcotic drugs.  He was originally  charged with first degree reckless homicide.  Abitz was scheduled to go on trial this week.  A second person who was charged in the case, Reginald Dorsey, died earlier this year from cancer.
