Fond du Lac Republican state lawmaker Jeremy Thiesfeldt says he wants to hear from constituents about right to work legislation. Republican lawmakers say they want to bring the issue forward early in the next legislative session even though Republican governor Scott Walker says he fears it would be a distraction. Thiesfeldt says his initial thought is that he supports the concept of right to work, but has not made up his mind how he would vote on a particular bill. “I’m going to spend time in the next month or so listening to the constituents in the 52nd (Assembly District) and hearing their thoughts,” Thiesfeldt told WFDL news. “I’m inclined to think favorably toward this sort of thing but once again, I’d have to see the bill. I want to learn all the fiscal impacts that there are.”
