Two Fond du lac men are charged in connection with drug-related armed robbery. Delaney Watt made his initial Fond du Lac Court appearance Tuesday and Prentice Shipp is expected to appear in court this week. Watt entered a not guilty plea and bail for Watt was set at $1000 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 16th. Police say Shipp and Watt robbed a man at gunpoint in the Pioneer Road Pick N Save parking lot August 10th.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
