12-24-14 local unemployment rate unchanged

The local unemployment rate is unchanged in the latest reporting period.  The city of Fond du Lac jobless rate stands at five percent in November, unchanged from October.  The 4.3 percent jobless rate in Fond du lac County is also unchanged.  In Dodge County the November jobless rate inched up one tenth of a percent to 5.1 percent in November.   Preliminary November unemployment rates decreased or remain unchanged in […]

12-24-14 bestiality charge-wausau

WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) — A Wausau man has been charged with a misdemeanor count of getting sexual gratification from an animal after authorities say he admitted to performing sex acts on a horse. Thirty-year-old Jared Kreft was charged last week in Marathon County.   District Attorney Kyle Mayo says the case is unique.  Kreft has also been charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
