A Milwaukee man arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Fond du lac County a little more than a year ago has reached a plea agreement. Dominic Cloyd pleaded no contest to amended charges of party to the crime of robbery with a threat of force, theft and disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon. A fourth count was dismissed and read into the record. Cloyd is one of three men accused of attacking a couple inside their town of Auburn home in December of 2013. A second suspect, Danny Morris, was convicted last month of party to the crime of armed robbery. Morris was accidentally shot in the upper torso during the incident and is now in a wheelchair.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
