1-27-15 garbage truck vs. pick-up truck in dodge county

The driver of a pickup was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital with apparent non life-threatening injuries following a collision with a garbage truck.  Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the accident happened shortly after 6am Tuesday on Lake Emily Road near Buckhorn Road in the town of Trenton. That’s located between Waupun and Fox Lake.

The Fond du Lac Salvation Army's Red Kettle  Campaign has surpassed its $145,000 goal.  Salvation Army captain, Steven Wilson says the fund drive collected more than $152,000.  Money raised during the holidays helps  eligible  Fond du Lac County families at or below  130% of the poverty level.   Social Services Director Ron Jacobson says the  food pantry doubled its service load in August providing 33,000 lbs. of food for more […]

1-27-15 fatal plane crash in central wisconsin

OWEN, Wis. (AP) — A plane crash in central Wisconsin has killed one person and injured two others. Clark County Sheriff Greg Herrick says the victim was a passenger in a Cessna 182 that was trying to make an emergency landing on a road in the town of Hoard at about 9:15 a.m. Monday.
