An Eden man has been convicted of attacking and  trying to disarm a sheriff’s deputy.  Twenty two year old Colton Obrien pleaded no contest to multiple charges including attempting to disarm a peace officer.  A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.   Obrien is accused of punching the deputy and trying to grab his service revolver during a scuffle.  Nineteen year old Tanner Gremminger is accused of pointing the deputy’s Taser at the deputy.  Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Captain Rick Olig says the incident unfolded after the deputy responded to a noise complaint in the town of Auburn July 2nd.   Gremminger was arrested that day  and Obrien surrendered the next day.
