An intoxicated Minnesota man is accused of causing a disturbance at two Fond du Lac businesses. Jon Clennon made his initial Fond du lac court appearance this week on charges of disorderly conduct and bail jumping. He is accused of grabbing a customer and threatening to shoot other customers at Family Video and Marco’s Pizza. Police say Clennon had a blood alcohol content of .31 percent, nearly four times the legal limit for driving. Clennon was out on bail for an open case in Juneau County where he is charged with his third drunken driving offense.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
