
The Dodge County Law Enforcement Explorer Post attended the Wisconsin State Law Enforcement Exploring Conference in Wisconsin Dells from January 29 – February 1, 2015. The Explorers competed against 33 teams from across the state in events such as Arrest and Search, Shoot/Don’t Shoot, Traffic Stop, Crime Scene Investigation, Burglary in Progress, Crime Prevention, and a constitutional law test following a presentation by Wisconsin Assistant Attorney General David Perlman. The Dodge County Explorers received an award for 2nd Place in Traffic Stops, 3rd Place in Arrest and Search, and 3rd Place on the Attorney General’s Law Exam. With these awards they were given $400 in Scholarship money to be brought back to the Dodge County Law Enforcement Explorers for dispersal to its members. Explorers who attended the Conference were Captain Bradley Kulibert of Mayville, Lieutenant Dustin Fredrick of Mayville, Sergeant Megan Falkinham of Beaver Dam, Sergeant Easton Meier of Beaver Dam, Sergeant Scott Anderson of Beaver Dam, Shania Warmka of Beaver Dam, and Grant Allar of Beaver Dam. Sheriff Dale Schmidt and the other Advisors are extremely proud of the Explorers in their accomplishments. The Explorer Post is an organization open to all youth interested in a career in law enforcement who are age 14-20.
