todayFebruary 13, 2015

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a new look for its fleet of squad cars. And in an effort to promote community involvement, the department is opening up the opportunity to the public for design submissions. Sheriff Dale Schmidt has announced the “Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Squad Car Design Competition”. Graphics must include the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Star which can be located on the county website. The submission should include a side and rear view of a 2015 Ford Police Interceptor SUV and must be received by the Sheriff’s Office no later than 4 p.m. on February 27th. The base color of the new vehicles will be black.  Schmidt says the designer or designers of the chosen graphic will have their design on all new Sheriff’s Office Squad Cars. They will also be given the opportunity to ride along in one of the new squad cars in an upcoming parade.
