2-18-15 thiesfeldt opposes new dot building

todayFebruary 18, 2015

A Fond du Lac Republican lawmaker says he is opposed to a proposal to spend almost $200 million for a new Wisconsin Department of Transportation building.  It would be Wisconsin’s largest state-owned office building.  State representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt says he wouldn’t be surprised if the project is taken out of the budget.  “I want to make it clear I am not a big fan of the DOT building.  In fact you might say I’m opposed to it,”  Thiesfeldt told WFDL news.   Meanwhile Thiesfeldt will be holding two in-district State Budget Town Hall meetings next month.
