A Beaver Dam man has been convicted of robbing a Beaver Dam convenience store, as well as dealing heroin. Twenty three year old Zachery Turck pleaded no contest to charges of armed robbery with threat of force and manufacturing with intent to deliver heroin in Dodge County Circuit Court. Two other drug related charges were dismissed and read into the record. According to a criminal complaint, the Beaver Dam Police Department and the Dodge County Drug Task Force conducted a controlled drug transaction where heroin was purchased from Turck and another suspect, 21 year old Kellie Diels of Burnett. They were taken into custody, and a search warrant executed on their vehicle revealed evidence that linked the pair to the June 4th armed robbery of Coyote Gas and Liquor. The complaint says Turck admitted to robbing the store to buy drugs. Diels allegedly waited in the pair’s vehicle outside of the store as Turck robbed it. Diels has pleaded not guilty to charges against her. A sentencing hearing for Turck has been scheduled for March 20th.
