2-12-15 sheboygan man accused of vandalizing brandon veterans memorial

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Sheboygan man charged with vandalizing a veteran’s memorial in Brandon.  Fifty two year old Joseph Ross is charged with criminal damage to a memorial that honors the dead.  The warrant was issued this week after Ross failed to appear in Fond du lac County Circuit Court for a motion hearing.   Brandon police chief Tom Dornbrook says Ross was arrested in December […]

2-12-15 new fish cleaning station planned for columbia park

The Fond du Lac County parks director says a new fish cleaning station will be a welcome improvement at Columbia Park…just north of Fond du Lac on Lake Winnebago.  The Fond du Lac County board has authorized the county to apply for a DNR grant to pay for half of the $90,000 project.  Parks director Sam Tobias says the facility will be a 10 by 20 foot open air shelter. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Lawmakers say Wisconsin infants should be tested for more deadly diseases during newborn screenings.  Sen. Julie Lassa, D-Stevens Point, and Rep. Todd Novak, R-Dodgeville, announced their effort Wednesday.
