2-11-15 prison sentence for fdl teenager convicted of sexually assaulting 8th grader

A Fond du Lac teenager convicted of  sexually assaulting an 8th grade girl has admitted to having sexual contact with nearly 30 underage girls when he was a student at Fond du Lac High School.  Fond du Lac judge Peter Grimm sentenced 18 year old Keenan Robinson to four and a half years in prison and five years extended supervision.  Robinson was convicted of third degree sexual assault.  The judge […]

2-11-15 assembly committee approves allowing mini shots of hard liquor in grocery stores

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin grocery shoppers may soon be able to sample mini-shots of hard liquor in an aisle near them. The Assembly's government operations committee unanimously approved a bipartisan bill that would allow retailers with liquor licenses to provide small shots of booze to their customers. The measure would allow shoppers to sample one half-ounce of hard alcohol, the equivalent of one-third a shot.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Menominee Nation has offered to help pay for a new Milwaukee Bucks arena if Gov. Benjamin Wissing of Ripon was selected as Marian University’s February Veteran of the Month.
