On Friday 27th, 2015 at 8:41 pm a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputy was investigated a report of a disorderly conduct between a male and female outside of a tavern in Johnsburg. While looking for the individuals, the Deputy’s squad was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection at CTH Q and CTH W. The male driver was arrested at the scene for suspicion of Operating While Intoxicated. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene. The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
