SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (AP) — Officials say a teenager was seriously injured after he got caught in a piece of farm machinery in Sheboygan Falls. According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, the 17-year-old male was working on an auger in a silo late Sunday afternoon when he got caught in the equipment. Department officials arrived at the scene and were able to remove him from the machinery. The teen was airlifted to Flight for Life to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. Further information about his condition wasn’t available as of Sunday night.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
