A Fond du Lac man has died after being pinned underneath a pick-up truck. Rescue personnel were called to the scene on Voyager Drive shortly after 11am Monday and found a 26 year old Fond du Lac man pinned underneath his F350 Ford pick up truck that was located in the driveway. The subject was pronounced dead at the scene. The initial investigation suggests that the man was underneath the vehicle doing maintenance when a mechanical failure occurred. The incident is still under investigation.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
